Policies and Alerts report

Policies and Alerts report is an XLSX report that provides statistics for the Policies and Alerts for the instance. Policies and Alerts reports can only be generated on demand.

Data in the report

The XLSX file contains data in two sheet tabs.

• Overview - some of the important data in this sheet are the number of alerts and blocked events due to Whitelist, Blacklist, or Rule Ring violations, the number of alerts actioned, and the number of alerts that Xprotect classifies as high threats.

• Summary - the details of all the alerts generated for the instance in the last 30 days.

Generate Policies and Alerts report

Policies and Alerts reports can only be generated on demand. Reports are listed in the Reports History tab by the names you assign to them.

1. Go to Reports.

2. Click Create New Report.

3. Select Policies and Alerts Report.

4. Enter a name for the report.

5. Click Date Range and select one of Last 1 Hour, Last 8 hours, Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or click the dates on the calendar to select the dates.

6. Click Apply.

7. Click Download. 

Download Policies and Alerts report

You can download Policies and Alerts reports to your local computer when you want to use the advanced features of Microsoft Excel to analyze the data.

• On the Reports History tab, click the Download icon (in the Report Name column) for the report.
